Designing the Relationship Between Myself and Society: What Can Be Done Between Expression and Social Movement?
"Designing the Space Between Myself and Society: What Can We Do at the Intersection of Expression and Social Movements?" Now Open for Registration🌏
Creative Studio koko is pleased to host the 6th edition of our event, "koko no me"🌱.
"koko no me" is a space for individuals involved in "creating and delivering" to exchange diverse ideas, perspectives, and emotions. It is a place to explore pathways toward the world we wish to live in—starting from right here, right now—and to empower one another.
Our theme is "What we want to talk about right now." We host events with guest speakers and publish articles exploring the creative process, production backgrounds, working environments, our relationship with society, and what we can do in our own capacity.🤍

The theme for this 6th session is "Designing the Space Between Myself and Society: What Can We Do at the Intersection of Expression and Social Movements?"
In recent years, while various "acts of communication"—including graphic design, advertising, art, publishing, video, community design, and journalism—have sought ways to address social issues, this has also given rise to conflicts, such as "how to handle human rights and political topics" or "how to reconcile personal beliefs with organizational logic."
As social issues are increasingly consumed as "trends," how can we sincerely engage with "human rights" and "social movements"? What kind of peers can we meet and what kind of spaces can we create to maintain our passion while balancing our work and personal lives?
In this event, starting from the fundamental question of "what can be done for society through creativity," we will share practices and thoughts currently being explored at the intersection of expression and social movements.
Through talks and workshops, we aim to create a space where we can think together about how to translate personal beliefs into our work and society.
